Merrell Tomlin is a professional Wine Steward who has spent more than 30 years pursuing what was originally an interest, then became a hobby and is now a passion. The love and enjoyment of Wine.

Having visited hundreds of vineyards around the globe and spoken to countless winemakers, Merrell brings a unique prospective and approach to the concept of learning about wine.

"Early on I was very fortunate to have someone who really knew and understood wines take the time to explain wine in a way that I could understand and come to appreciate."

Merrell's approach to helping others understand and appreciate wine still follows that simplification process. If you can remove the fear you can increase the pleasure.

Merrell is a retired executive who lives and consults in the Madison area. He created Learn Vino through a desire to share his knowledge and passion for wine.
