Wine is one of life’s greatest pleasures, but for many of us, it can be both intimidating and confusing. Whether you are just starting to enjoy wine or would like to broaden your wine knowledge, Learn Vino has designed two 4 week educational courses that focus on the eight “Noble Grapes” of France, from which the most familiar wines are made. Each course covers 2 reds and 2 whites, and each grape is given its own specific evening.
The wine tasting courses are conducted one night a week, for four weeks, from 7–9 p.m., at our classroom in Middleton and are limited to eight individuals for a more intimate, hands-on approach.
Course 1: Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah/ Shiraz
Course 2: Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon
Combining history, geography, chemistry and fun, the wine appreciation courses are designed to help eliminate the confusion that surrounds wine and expand your appreciation and love of wine.
